Robotron signs on NZ's largest electricity retailerSponsored
Mercury NZ has around 573,000 electricity customer connections. In the future the energy data management software robotron*esales will manage Mercury’s LCOM division, where 7000 ICPs including all generation plants will be billed.
Along with managing all billing relevant tasks, the software will handle quotation calculation and market communication for Mercury.
Mercury is helping move Aotearoa New Zealand to a low emissions future through generating electricity from 100 per cent renewable sources: hydro, geothermal and wind, and Robotron is proud to help!
Mercury head of integration Nick Pudney says: “We were looking for a solution that could help us meet the needs of both our large commercial customers and our generation activities, as well as allowing us to meet our market obligations with confidence. Robotron’s esales software provides this in a modular and flexible manner and importantly, has already proven its credentials in the New Zealand market. We look forward to working with Robotron in the months and years ahead.“
Robotron New Zealand’s managing director, Alexander Born says: “We are very pleased to be working alongside Mercury as their chosen software partner. Mercury is a leading electricity retailer who shares our vision. We look forward to helping New Zealand move towards a low emissions future.”
